Beyoncé has added a second show in Las Vegas for her Renaissance World Tour. Due to high demand, Allegiant Stadium announced Saturday that the second show will take place on Aug. 27.

12 Best Buffets In Las Vegas

Like Elvis impersonators, pool parties, and neon lights, all-you-can-eat buffets are an essential part of a trip to Vegas, a sometimes excessive but always enjoyable experience. This culinary tradition dates back to 1946, with the opening of the Buckaroo Buffet at El Rancho Casino, according to the Las Vegas Advisor. Back then, there were just a handful of casinos in town, and it was at El Rancho that owner Beldon Katleman realized it was practical and profitable to feed diners late at night, providing them with enough energy to stay at the casino for a few more hours after the shows. Cold cuts and hot dishes proved to be popular, and other casinos quickly caught on to this promising business idea. By the 70s, all-you-can-eat buffets became synonyms for dining in Sin City.

Circa Sports to award $1M to winners of Circa Million IV pro football contest

Circa Sports officially announced the winner of this season’s Circa Million IV pro football contest on Monday. After the Chiefs’ victory over the Raiders on Saturday, the group — registered as “Chief-3” from Detroit, Michigan — will be awarded a total of $1 Million. The group will be awarded their check at an event on Friday, Jan. 13 at the D. According to a news release, $12 million in total will be awarded to contest winners during the event.

Jarred Johnson has made visits to Las Vegas before. He will make some again. But he might never experience what happened to him approximately one month apart. Playing Four Card Keno at $20 per spin ($5 for each hand), Johnson hit a 7-spot for $140,000, playing the same machine and same numbers at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. On each keno quadrant, Johnson played 8, 9, 10, 18, 19, 20 and 29 for a $35,000 payout on each of the four cards. He describes the first time this combination hit in September.

What’s Buried In Lake Mead – As the levels of Lake Mead recede, ghost towns, boat wrecks, and bodies emerge from the lake

Lake Mead is the largest reservoir in the United States when measured by water capacity. The reservoir was formed by the damming of the Colorado River with the construction of the massive Hoover Dam. When it is at maximum capacity, Lake Mead is 112 miles long and 532 feet at its deepest. Lake Mead has remained below full capacity since 1983. Lake Mead flooded a large area that had been home to settlers and prehistoric populations. The reservoir flooded archeological sites, ghost towns, and much more. Lake Mead’s water level famously fluctuates significantly over time. During these times, some of the ghosts of the past reemerge from the depths of Lake Mead – so what is lost to the waters of Lake Mead?

Grandstands to be built on lake at Bellagio for F1’s Las Vegas Grand Prix

MGM Resorts International has announced that grandstands will be built on the iconic lake at Bellagio for Formula 1′s Las Vegas Grand Prix. According to a news release, the experience will offer “guests the opportunity to witness the race from grandstands built on the Bellagio lake where the resort’s iconic Fountains dance daily.” MGM Resorts say the “epic seats” are currently only available as part of the company’s race-and-stay packages.

I made this video because I wanted to show you guys some awesome upscale restaurants where you don’t have to spend a whole bunch just to have a nice occasion. I mean compared to the strip, these prices are a steal, and all of these are less than 2 miles away from the Las Vegas Strip.

Study says 1-in-5 U.S. adults bet money on sports in past year

Nearly one in five U.S. adults bet money on sports over the past year, according to a survey released Wednesday. The report from the Pew Research Center shows that 19% of adults surveyed said they had wagered on sports. The most common way they did so was by placing bets with friends or family, such as a private betting pool, fantasy league or a casual bet; 15% of respondents said they bet in this manner.

Relic game Sigma Derby still attracting players to Las Vegas casino

The D has become somewhat of a mecca for gamblers — mostly small-time gamblers — who want to play a vintage coin-operated slot machine that is the only one of its kind in Las Vegas and one of the last in the United States. Touring Las Vegas’ Many Elvis-Related Locations

Elvis Presley’s footprints are all over this Valley. He began leaving them in April 1956, when he performed a two-week run of shows in the Venus Room of the now-defunct New Frontier Hotel and Casino. The property was torn down in 2007, but that doesn’t change that fact that those blue suede shoes were once planted on the northwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Fashion Show Drive. And while those New Frontier shows were tepidly received (Las Vegas Sun writer Bill Willard called Elvis and his band “uncouth” and “a bore”), Elvis still had a lot of Vegas ahead of him.

Oscar De La Hoya pays $14.6M for Henderson Home

Boxing promoter and former boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya, known as The Golden Boy, has paid $14.6 million in cash for a home under construction in the luxury Henderson hillside community of MacDonald Highlands. The purchase tops the list of Las Vegas area sales in May on the Multiple Listing Service of the Las Vegas Realtors association. It’s one of two sports celebrity sales in May with former Vegas Golden Knight Alex Tuch selling his Summerlin home after his trade to Buffalo.
