JERSEY BOYS Concludes “Four Seasons Of Kindness” Campaign In 2015

On December 16, JERSEY BOYS Vegas concluded its 4th and final installation of its ôFour Seasons of Kindnessö campaign. The autumn initiative, held together with Sunny 106.5 and benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada, incorporated a holiday drive which led to greater than $10,000 worth of donations of new winter clothing for teen club members. The ôFour Seasons of Kindnessö campaign was a year-long initiative carried out in celebration of JERSEY BOYS becoming the longest-running Broadway production on the Vegas Strip an in thanks for the community’s continued support of the show.

I’ve got some exciting Uber news for you all this week.

First! Uber can now pick up and drop off at the Las Vegas (McCarran) Airport. You probably all got the email with instructions, but just to re-iterate..

GETTING AN UBER FROM THE AIRPORT

Once you have collected your bags, open the Uber app and select your terminal.

Terminal 1: Head to Level 2M of the public parking garage.

Terminal 3: Head to the Valet Level of the public parking garage.

The two locations listed above are the only places you’ll be able to get picked up by your driver. Your driver will be waiting in the designated Uber pick-up zone.

PRO TIP: Confirm your driver’s name and license plate number match the info in the app.

Second piece of big news…

Uber is dropping its prices by 30%! That’s huge! We’ve been told that this is a temporary reduction for the holidays, but sources say it will be permanent.

English Rock Band The Struts Spotted At ABSINTHE

The English rock band, The Struts stopped by ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace on Thursday, November 12. In town for their headlining concert at Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on November 14, the rockers were spotted enjoying the 8 p.m. performance. The group met with The Gazillionaire, his assistant Joy Jenkins, aerial cradle flyer Cadence Alexia and the ôGreen Fairyö Melody Sweets following the show for a photo and to express their enjoyment of the production. The band later took to Twitter and Instagram to share the photo along with their sentiments for the show, ôGreat to watch and meet the cast of @AbsintheVegas, incredible performance. Q: Do Vegas Uber drivers get tipped?

A: Some people believe that because this is Las Vegas, that you are obligated to tip the Uber driver. Not true. When it comes to tipping, Uber’s policy is the same everywhere. You are never expected nor required to tip your Uber driver.

I get very few tips, but that’s ok. When I took this job I knew it was a non-tipping platform. Sometimes people will tip a couple dollars. And I’m always grateful.

Q: Is it true that Uber drivers can rate their passengers?

A: Yes. We can rate you from 1 to 5 stars, based on how good of a passenger you are. But in all honesty, I have never had any reason to rate any passenger less than 5 stars. Even the one who got sick on the back of my car.
