Curtain Set To Reopen on Rio’s ‘Wow The Vegas Spectacular’
After taking a brief break during the pandemic shut down, “Wow- The Vegas Spectacular” returns to the stage at the Rio All-suite Hotel & Casino on Tuesday, Aug. 10. “WOW” has performed over 1,200 performances since its debut at the resort in 2017.

Visitor hits $1M jackpot on Las Vegas Strip on Friday the 13th
A visitor from Texas had some good luck on Friday the 13th when she hit a massive jackpot on the Las Vegas Strip. According to a news release, Nora Davila from Pharr, Texas, turned a $2 bet into $1,021,166 while playing IGT’s Wheel of Fortune Double 3X4X5X Pay game at the Venetian.

Shaquille O’Neal Buys Las Vegas Estate for $2M
Basketball Hall of Famer and TNT NBA analyst Shaquille O’Neal, who has business ties in Las Vegas, has sold the home he bought in Southern Highlands pre-pandemic and turned around and paid nearly $2 million for a private 1-acre compound near Wayne Newton’s former estate in the southeast valley, according to the listing agent’s social media post.

Main Street Station in Downtown Las Vegas to Reopen in September
Main Street Station, one of the last few casinos in the Las Vegas area to remain closed since March last year, will reopen next month. Boyd Gaming announced the downtown Las Vegas casino will reopen at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8. It will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
