Hello From Las Vegas! – It has been a wacky weather March. We’ve had highs in the 70’s, highs in the 50’s (sometimes on back-to-back days), a number of days of 30mph wind, and a few days of rain. Since people do inquire about what are the better (or more predictable) months to visit, we’ll be discussing our preferred weather information references (for Las Vegas) as well as which are the most and least stable months to visit down in Members Mania this week.
Where To Win In Las Vegas – This issue, we’ll continue the discussion — based on state gaming taxation information and casino corporate reports (we read all of that boring stuff so you don’t have to) — of where to play to have the best chance of winning.
Last issue, we covered the very best area of Las Vegas if you have the transportation or don’t mind taking an inexpensive Uber ride. And frankly, you’ll probably save more (in both less losses/more chances to win, and great food at very reasonable prices.
Don’t Forget: (Click) We’re able to offer $5 off your first Uber ride!
We then discussed downtown Las Vegas. It is pretty common knowledge that Downtown gaming is looser than The Strip. However, Fremont Street has its variances. We noted suggested places to play (and stay) and why.

Where To Play (Or Avoid) On The Las Vegas Strip – Although The Strip has the worst gambling in Nevada (tight slots, bad table game rules), we know that many of you simply won’t leave the nicer resorts and/or still feel that your comps make the proverbial losses worth it. The Strip gambling landscape has been changing dramatically, and we have what you need to know:

Despite some restaurants changing their service or closing completely, Las Vegas has plenty of iconic restaurants and bars in its storied history. Many have stood the test of time, still around decades after opening.
Nevada is about more than the Las Vegas Strip. If you are looking for a weekend getaway or a new road trip destination, here are eight beautiful places to visit in the Silver State that are worth the drive.

A guest at The D Las Vegas hit a $100,000 jackpot recently. The jackpot was on a poker machine at the downtown casino’s Longbar where the player hit a royal flush on a $125 bet. It was a $25 machine with the gambler betting 5.
Vegas winter was late to the party this year. But if the sun is out, the daylife must begin. Several Strip pool clubs are scheduled to open this weekend, and many others are gearing up for grand openings in mid-March.
I’m coming to Las Vegas in (name of month). What will the weather be like?

Ted Responds:
We monitor a whole bunch of online forums and groups about Las Vegas, so you don’t have to. Trust me, by the time you’ve seen the question “What is the best steakhouse” for the 47th time, or someone simply saying “I’m coming for the first time, what should I do”, your eyes will glaze over.
In fact, that is why we instituted our members program. For buying us that “cup of coffee” each month, you are entitled to have us personally answer your question for help about Las Vegas. One size does not fit all. We take a minute to ask you what you are after, or what you want to experience. We’re “Your Guy In Vegas”.
For example, we recently answered (and published) information for visiting the Grand Canyon. With two rims to visit (from Las Vegas) and multiple ways to get over there (rental car, bus, airplane, and helicopter), there is no one-size-fits-all answer. Many of you were able to make the right decision for YOU on this bucket list (and not inexpensive) venture. It pleases us to make sure your future Las Vegas trips are your best ever!
So, when it comes to Las Vegas’ ever changing weather, it helps to know which months are generally the most stable, and which are pretty chaotic and hard to predict (months in advance). If you just want a general overview with the understanding that temps here can be 15 degrees higher or lower than the monthly average, no need to do any more than ask your favorite search engine for sites with Las Vegas weather averages. However, that won’t tell you which months are more volatile, and which are likely to adhere to the averages. That’s what we’re here for!
Hope this helps,

Just before the puck was dropped for Tuesday’s Golden Knights game against the Chicago Blackhawks, a familiar face with a haircut resembling the Bichon Frise that won Best of Show at Westminster was spotted on the mezzanine party deck at T-Mobile Arena.
