  • The Bellagio Conservatory Summer 2015 – The famous Bellagio Conservatory is having their summer display “Under the Sea” on view now through September 12. It’s still free and it’s still open 24 hours a day! This display takes you into the depths of the ocean with vibrant scenes and thousands of fresh floral. It’s the Bellagio, so its really a lot of fresh floral! They do a nice combination of iconic underwater and beach scenes including mermaids, sunken ships and sand castles. Plus my favorite, the sea turtle!

Efforts to expand the amusement rides at the Stratosphere resort in Las Vegas was seriously considered back in 2001. Chera Kimiko’s report shows the design, scale, and video animation of the extreme roller coaster ride proposal. Alas, the ride never materialized.
