Hello from Las Vegas! After a couple of 110 degree days, it looks to be a great weekend with highs only around 100. (Hey … it really is a dry heat … beats Florida in the 90’s). Speaking of, our best wishes for our Florida readers to see minimal impact from the hurricanes headed your way.

September Travel Tip – September (after Labor Day) is a great time to be in Las Vegas. A slow travel and convention month, the rates are surprisingly reasonable considering the perfect weather. PT’s 2005 Calendar Girls

PT’s calendar girl, Brittney, to host a meet and greet to promote the new 2005 PT’s Calendar.

If you are driving in or will have a rental car this Friday, you want to hang with the locals for this one. PT’s Pubs is a famous chain of Las Vegas bars that the locals love. This Friday August 13, Calendar Girl Brittney (pictured left) hosts her party and it is convenient for tourists too!

PT’s Gold Sunset (1661 E. Sunset Rd) is not only close to The Strip, but has an amazing view of The Strip, a really nice, semi-upscale but fun atmosphere, and is our personal favorite place to watch our beautiful Las Vegas sunsets.

The event begins at 4 p.m. and includes happy hour specials such as a $2 wine, well drinks and domestic draft beer along with half off any pizza until 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public (must be 21). The 2005 PT’s Calendar is available for advance purchase for only $12.
