Ultimate Fighting Championship Presents UFC 108: Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva Saturday, January 2 At MGM Grand – The UFC announced that the bout between former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans and Brazilian knockout artist Thiago Silva will headline UFC 108, a result of Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira having to pull out of his fight with Cain Velasquez due to a severe left elbow injury. UFC 108: EVANS vs. SILVA, presented by “Bayonetta,” will be held Saturday, Jan. 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Back Alley Bar At The Stratosphere Hotel & Casino Goes Country For NFR – The Back Alley Bar will go country in honor of the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) held through December 12, 2009. Back Alley Bar will feature the country/rock band D-Zire, performing nightly from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., along with Jack Daniels prize giveaways, drink specials and delicious down-home dishes like pulled pork sandwiches. American Superstars show tribute artists Tim McGraw and Carrie Underwood will also make special appearances. Stratosphere patrons will also be eligible to earn drawing entries to win tickets to attend the NFR.

Barry Manilow Brings New Show To Paris Las Vegas – Celebrated Music Legend Signs Two-Year Deal With Paris Las Vegas And AEG Live – Legendary singer-songwriter Barry Manilow is making music and magic at Paris Las Vegas with a new resident show. On March 5, 2010 Manilow will throw open the doors to the Paris Theatre at Paris Las Vegas with a reimagined stage show that will be both more intimate and more exciting than ever before. Manilow will perform 78 shows each year for two years at Paris Las Vegas. The shows are produced by AEG Live in conjunction with Paris Las Vegas. Tickets for performances March 5 through July 18, 2010 are on-sale today at 9 a.m. EST.
